A website rebuild and quote tools for Delta Decks

02 The brief
The brief
The old site buried useful information in dense copy and a 62-link menu. We simplified the layout around four tasks: explore services, compare projects, estimate a budget and request a quote.
03 What changed
Before and after
Each pair below is the same job on the old site and the new one. Select any screenshot to open it full size.
01Homepage
A clearer first impression
The new homepage brings the company’s experience, reviews and services into focus, with a clear free-estimate button.
02A project
Projects customers can compare
Brief slideshows became useful case pages with materials, location, build details and a next step.
03Contact
The quote request comes first
The form now leads the page, with a preferred contact method. Showroom details and opening hours remain below.
Pages the old site did not have

After - a portfolio you can filter

04 The calculator
Deck cost calculator
I built a four-step calculator so homeowners can explore a budget before contacting the team.
- Step by step
Four simple steps
Choose the deck surface, railings, privacy and extras.
- Always visible
A live itemised total
Prices update with each choice, with 13% HST shown separately.
- Explainable
Transparent pricing
Material, height and length-based rates make the estimate easy to understand.
- Straight to the office
Ready for follow-up
The breakdown reaches the lightweight CRM with the enquiry and a Telegram alert.
A planning estimate, not a final quote. Drawings, site conditions and permits still affect the price. 2
05 Beyond the pages
Search, links and enquiries
Redirects, useful links and organised enquiries support the new website.
- Addresses
Redirects mapped before launch
Old URLs were mapped to the new pages to preserve useful links.
- Linking
Relevant sites connected
Service areas, sister companies and material suppliers are linked where useful.
- Social
Recent work on the site
Instagram feeds bring new projects onto key pages.
- Enquiries
A lightweight CRM
Quote requests and project details stay organised, with bot protection and Telegram alerts.
06 Photo and video
Project photography and video
I produce the project photography, drone video and social content, then prepare it for the website.
- From the air
Drone video
I shoot and edit aerial views of completed builds.
- On the ground
Project photography
Professional camera stills show materials and construction details.
- Cut for the feed
Social content
Vertical photos and video are shot for the format.
- Onto the site
Web-ready media
I optimise, caption and publish the finished assets.
07 Who built it
Who did the work
I coordinated the design and development teams, then continued the improvements after launch.
- Version 1
Design and coordination
An outside designer created the initial design. I managed the brief, structure and reviews.
- Version 2
Development by Rivo.Agency
Rivo.Agency built the WordPress and Bricks site; I coordinated implementation.
- Since launch
Ongoing work by me
Since launch: UX/UI, SEO, project pages, photography, the calculator and lightweight CRM.
- Still going
Continued support
The rebuild ran from late 2024 to summer 2026. Project content and improvements continue.
What the client says
“The site finally looks like the work we do. It reads as premium, which is what our clients are buying, and it has brought us noticeably more enquiries than the old one ever did.”
- A premium look
- More enquiries
- Reads like the real business
Draft - written up from Elgi's feedback and awaiting his approved wording.

Notes
- Before screenshots: Internet Archive captures from early 2025, rendered with the archived stylesheet at matching window sizes. Menu counts compare old and new navigation. ↩
- Calculator: Planning rates agreed with Delta Decks, with itemised options and 13% HST. Final pricing requires project review. ↩
